EMP News Update

On Thursday, 6th June, our Primary Care Network (PCN) held its annual PCN Protected Learning Time event at the iconic Warrington Wolves stadium. This gathering provided a valuable opportunity for colleagues in similar roles to connect, share experiences, and gain insights from various expert speakers.

The event was graced by distinguished guest speakers who delved into crucial topics such as gut health and the strategies for future-proofing primary care. Their presentations sparked engaging discussions and provided practical takeaways for enhancing patient care.

A highlight of the day was the nomination process for the ‘Unsung Hero 2024’. Each practice was asked to nominate a team member who exemplifies dedication, compassion, and excellence in their role. This initiative aims to recognize and celebrate the invaluable contributions of those who often work behind the scenes to ensure the smooth functioning of primary care services.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants, speakers, and organizers who made this event a resounding success. The enthusiasm and collaborative spirit demonstrated throughout the day reaffirm our commitment to delivering outstanding primary care.

Stay tuned for the announcement of the Eric Moore Partnership ‘Unsung Hero 2024’ winner, Rachel Baker; our incredibly dedicated Practice Nurse and Cancer Care Nurse; as we continue to honor the extraordinary efforts within our PCN community.
