Supporting our local community

During December 2023, Eric Moore Partnership have been running a Christmas Hamper raffle, and with the support of our staff and patients we have managed to raise a grand total of £540 which will directly benefit the local homeless community.

As part of our initiative to support some of the most vulnerable people in our local community, the practice team at Eric Moore Partnership Medical Practice have been busy fundraising for Room at the Inn – The Y Project, a charity providing daytime services to homeless and vulnerable people in Warrington, and a safe place for homeless people to sleep; with dedicated staff and volunteers supporting people through difficult times and towards a brighter future.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who participated, and the practice aims to continue its efforts in the fight against inequalities faced by those who are struggling with homelessness into 2024. We also hope to inspire others to take action and make a tangible difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

As well as delivering a cheque to the Y Project today, our ‘Curry Night’ charity has also paid a visit to the shelter to provide hot meals and Christmas presents for the service users.

We strongly believe that our community can work together to address significant societal issues, and the funds we have passed over to the homeless charity today mark not just a financial contribution, but a symbolic gesture of solidarity, hope, and compassion for a better, more inclusive society.
