St Rocco's Hospice Bereavement Cafe

St. Rocco’s Hospice are pleased to announce the opening of our second Bereavement Café at

The Pavilion

Bank Park

Warrington

WA1 1UH

On the last Tuesday of every month from 10.00am – 11.30am, starting on Tuesday 26th July 2022.

Why does St. Rocco’s have a bereavement cafe?

When someone you love dies it can be a painful experience. Allowing yourself time to grieve and mourn your loss is an essential part of the healing process.

For most people, grief is a normal process and the majority of people find their way through with the support of family and friends. However, bereavement can bring many challenges and changes. It can lead to a sense of loneliness and isolation when someone important to you dies.

Who are the Bereavement Cafés for?

The Bereavement Cafés are open to anyone who has been bereaved and is grieving. Your loss could have been many years ago or just yesterday. The aim of our cafes is to provide a welcoming and safe place where you can talk to others, share similar experiences and enjoy refreshments.

When you visit one of our cafés it’s very informal, you don’t need to book ahead, you’re invited to ‘drop in’ whenever you wish. The sessions are facilitated by members of staff from St. Rocco‘s Counselling and Emotional Care Team and volunteers.
