Please note that, in the interest of safety, repeat prescriptions can not be taken over the telephone, but can be requested in writing by handing in a request slip at Reception or by electronic means (email or fax to 632868) or in writing or via a Pharmacy service.

Repeat Prescriptions will be issued at the discretion of the Doctors and are normally for patients on long-term treatment.

If you are taking regular medication we have a computerised repeat prescription system. Please keep the computer slip which comes with your prescription. When you need a repeat, please tick the items needed and return the form to the Practice.

We are unable to take telephone requests or to take orders or issue prescriptions at weekends, public holidays or outside opening hours.

Please allow 48 hours, from receipt of the request at the Practice, for collection of the prescription. Prescription collection is therefore available at 3pm or later on the appropriate working day.

• For example: Prescription Requests received on or before 12 noon on a Monday will be available for collection after 3pm on a Wednesday.
